Thank you to all who attended and to all our donors for always remembering. You have funded more scholarships to more students and you keep Stephen’s spirit alive in this world. We can never thank you enough. God Bless you, Dorry & Emily & all the Trustees of Stephen’s Fund

Our 2013 Scholarship winner receiving her plaque at Convocation. Congratulations Carol! Have a wonderful experience in Oz!!

Congratulations to Carol MacDonald-Schmidt an Early Childhood/Childhood major from Saranac Lake, NY on being the recipient of the 2013 Stephen K. Tompsett Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is given annually to a SUNY student who has been accepted into the Student Teach in Australia Program. The Scholarship is $1500 and a plaque presented to a student teacher who personifies Steve’s qualities and is committed to perpetuating his legacy of volunteerism and good works for children, education and charitable causes.Because Stephen was Australian by birth and his mother was a teacher, the scholarship has special significance for the Tompsett family who is proud to support a worthy individual pursuing his/her student teaching experience in Stephen’s native country.
